Dearness allowance up by 7 per cent

NEWS FLASH The union cabinet on Monday hiked dearness allowance by 7 per cent. It was increased from 65 per cent to 72 per cent of basic pay. The move will benefit about 50 lakh central government employees and 30 lakh pensioners.
