New Zealand finish the day 1 of second Test match against India in Bangalore on 328/6 in 81.3 overs. Play could not be completed after bad-light intervened.

For New Zealand, skipper Ross Taylor scored 113 off 127 balls, Martin Guptill got 53 off 79 balls and wicket-keeper Kruger van Wyk remained not-out on 63 off 85 balls.

For India, Pragyan Ojha got 4 wickets for 90 runs in 27 overs. Zaheer Khan and R Ashwin got a wicket each.
