Petrol price to be cut by Rs 2 per litre effective from midnight

NEWS FLASH State-run oil refiners have agreed to a partial rollback of last month's petrol price hike, an oil company source said on Saturday. Effective from midnight, retail petrol prices will be cut by Rs 2 a litre, the source said. Petrol after last week's steepest ever hike of Rs 7.54 a litre costs Rs 73.18 per litre in Delhi.
