Egypt's ex-President Hosni Mubarak sentenced to life in prison

NEWS FLASH An Egyptian court today sentenced former president Hosni Mubarak to life in prison after convicting him on charges of complicity in the killing of protesters during last year's uprising that ousted him from power. The court in Cairo also sentenced his former interior minister Habib el-Adli to life in prison on the same charge.
