Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood superstar and co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, has been banned for five years from entering the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The decision was announced by Vilasrao Deshmukh, head of Maharashtra Cricket Association, after he met the managing committee to discuss the scuffle that took place between Shah Rukh and the MCA members and security personnel on Wednesday night at the Wankhede Stadium.
Shah Rukh, who refused to apologise, said he was angry because the security members manhandled the children, and were abusive.
