| Nupur Talwar, accused of murdering her 13-year-old daughter Aarushi, has been ordered by the Supreme Court to appear in the Ghaziabad court where her trial is to begin.
Mrs Talwar had asked the Supreme Court to suspend a non-bailable warrant issued against her by the Ghaziabad court. The Supreme Court refused to do that, but said that when Mrs Talwar applies for bail, her request will be promptly considered.
That means that Mrs Talwar may spend a day or two in jail.
The warrant against Mrs Talwar was issued earlier this month because she refused to attend a hearing at the Ghaziabad court. | |
