News Portal: Suresh Kalmadi not sacked, says Indian Olympic Association

Suresh Kalmadi, who was granted bail for the Commonwealth Games scam in January, has not been sacked as the president of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). Vijay Kumar Malhotra, who will continue as the acting president of IOA, said that Kalmadi will not associate with IOA anymore. Indian Olympic body: Kalmadi has said he will not assert his rights. The IOA said that they did not want any controversy with a few months to go for the London Olympics.
