| The Supreme Court has left it to a CBI trial court to decide on whether the role of Home Minister P Chidambaram should be investigated in the 2G scam.
The two-judge bench of Justices AK Ganguly and GS Singhvi also ruled today that all 122 licences issued by A Raja during his infamous tenure as Telecom Minister should be cancelled.
On whether the CBI's inquiry so far shows signs of being influenced by the government and should therefore be supervised by a Special Investigations Team (SIT), the court has said no.
