| India are 166/6 at stumps on Day 4 of the fourth Test against Australia in Adelaide. They still need 334 runs to win with 4 wickets remaining.
Australia had declared their second innings at 167/5 and set India a target of 500 runs.
Virender Sehwag made 62 runs, Rahul Dravid 25, Sachin Tendulkar 13, VVS Laxman 35 and Virat Kohli scored 22 runs.
Nathan Lyon picked three wickets while Ben Hilfenhaus took 2 wickets.
