| Rajasthan beat Tamil Nadu in the final match of 2011/12 Ranji Trophy Elite, in Chennai on Monday.
The defending champions scored 621 and 204/5 (declared) in their two innings against Tamil Nadu's 295 and 8/2.
Vineet Saxena (man of the match) smashed 257 in the first innings and RR Singh claimed four wickets to put pressure on Tamil Nadu in the first two innings of the match.
Dinesh Karthik scored 150 for the hosts but failed to take his team to a win.
This is Rajasthan's second win in ten appearances in the Ranji Trophy final.
