| Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has told his country's Supreme Court that he has the highest respect for the judiciary and that he could not think of committing contempt of court. And he has sought a month's time to respond to the court on the issue of re-opening graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari. He has got some time, though not a month. The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing till February 1, after asking why the government had been silent for three years. Mr Gilani had been summoned by the Supreme Court to appear in person today, and respond to a contempt notice for failing to reopen graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
