IMP: We're updating our Terms of Service

Dear user,

We are writing to let you know that we will be updating HostGator India’s
Terms of Service (“TOS”) effective 15th November 2019.

You can view the new TOS on this link here.

As a result of the updated TOS, we are reducing the renewal grace period for hosting orders from 45 days to 15 days

The “renewal grace period” is the period of time during which you can renew your services after your hosting order expires before your services are terminated and files deleted. At the end of the renewal grace period, your hosting order and any associated content such as website files, emails and databases stored on the server are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

For example:
If your hosting order expires on 1st December 2019 because you fail to renew it, your:
  • Renewal grace period begins : 1st December 2019
  • Renewal grace period ends : 16th December 2019

In this example, the hosting order and associated content will be permanently deleted on 16th December 2019 if the product is not renewed before 15th December 2019.

[Note: This is only an example and does not refer to any orders on your account]

As a reminder, this grace period is provided as a courtesy only and does not affect your responsibility to maintain backups of your data or create any obligation for HostGator India to maintain such backups.

For any questions or concerns please reach out to us here

Regards,
Team HostGator
