Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata Walk in Interview for recruitment of Computer Trainee on purely temporary basis to work in the Machine Intelligence Unit of the Institute. The Walk-in-interview will be conducted on 28th August 2014.

Educational Qualifications:

(a) Essential – Post-graduate (Science), MCA or B.E./B.Tech. from University/Institute with consistently good academic record.
(b) Desirable – Candidates with higher qualification/experience may be considered for a higher pay. Preference will be given to candidates having diploma/degree in computer related area or practical knowledge in computer software, hardware, networking and maintenance of the computer systems.

Tenure –> The tenure of the appointment is upto 31 March 2015 which may be extended later/terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds & performance of the candidate.
Walk in interview Date -> 28/08/2014 at 10:00 AM

Walk in interview Venue -> Machine Intelligence Unit, 4th floor of the Platinum Jubilee Academic Building of the Indian Statistical Institute.

Interested Candidates appearing for the interview are required to bring with them the application addressed to the Professor-in-Charge, Computer & Communication Sciences Division, ISI, Kolkata along with bio-data stating (a) Name; (b) Address and Telephone number; (c) E-mail address; (d) Father’s/Husband’s Name; (e) Date of Birth; (f) Educational Qualifications (with percentage of marks obtained in each examination); (g) Work experiences, and (h) SC/ST/OBC status along with attested copies of all certificates. They should also bring the original copies of the certificates for verification. Candidates will have to report to the office of the Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, 203 B.T. Road, Kolkata 700108 on the day of interview half an hour before the time.
