Tips for Working with FlowForce ServerIf you haven't yet had a chance to try out FlowForce Server for automating data integration or report generation processes, it may be helpful to read through a common example before getting started. This page outlines the steps required to define a complete data transformation workflow on FlowForce Server by executing MapForce Server for data mapping, and pipelining results to StyleVision Server to render a report in HTML (or other output formats). After defining the execution steps of a workflow, you may wish to enhance it further to create more orderly results and remove unneeded temporary files. Once the FlowForce Server job described above ran several times, we noticed that many output files had accumulated in the same folder we used to process input files, and temporary intermediate files had collected in the workFiles folder. This page walks you through the process of moving ancillary files to output directories as needed and periodically clearing the contents of your working directories. You'll also learn some useful tips and tricks for testing your FlowForce jobs during set up. | ||||||||||||
