News Portal: Arrested for Facebook post over Mumbai bandh, two women granted bail

Two women in Mumbai have been granted bail, after they were arrested for questioning on Facebook the shutdown of Mumbai on Sunday, the day of Bal Thackeray's funeral. One of the women, Shaheen Dhada, had written on her Facebook page, "We should remember Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev", two martyrs of India's independence struggle. Her friend Renu had "liked" the post. Police had arrested both the women under Section 505 of the Indian Penal Code, which is for inciting violence.
