England captain Alastair Cook slammed a century on the penultimate day of the first Test against India in Ahmedabad.

Cook's 21st Test hundred is his third against India. He played 181 deliveries and hit 16 boundaries to bring it up.

England lost the wickets of Nick Compton (37), Jonathan Trott (17) and Kevin Pietersen (2) this morning. While Pragyan Ojha took two wickets, Zaheer took one.
