| The International Cycling Union (UCI) today, banned Lance Armstrong for life and also stripped him of his seven Tour De France titles.
The UCI decided to uphold US Anti-doping agency's report and ban on Armstrong.
UCI chief Pat McQuaid said, "Lance Armstrong deserves to be forgotten from cycling."
McQuaid also announced that the federation accepted the USADA's report on Armstrong and would not appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
