Pakistan beat New Zealand by 13 runs in Pallekelle on Sunday.

New Zealand scored 164/9 in reply to Pakistan's 177/6 in 20 overs.

Saeed Ajmal took 4/30 while Nasir Jamshed hit 57 in 36 balls.

Tim Southee and Jacob Oram took two wickets each.

Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bat first.
