Virat Kohli completed his third T20 fifty, in the opening Group A match but fell a ball later.

He took 38 balls and hit 4 boundaries and 2 sixes to complete his half-century.

India lost openers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag early. Yuvraj Singh also fell after scoring 18 runs.
