News Portal: IPL: Bid for Deccan Chargers rejected by team owners

The Hyderabad-based IPL team Deccan Chargers remained unsold today after the sole bidder PVP Ventures was rejected by the Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL) on the basis of the payment terms offered by them. The BCCI said the offer met its eligibility and suitability criteria but was it was unacceptable to the DCHL. According to sources, bids could also be put out for a fresh team. The final decision will be taken on September 15.
