India begin proceedings with the bat on Day 3 of the 2nd Test against New Zealand, starting on an overnight 1st innings score of 283/5.

Virat Kohli (93) and MS Dhoni (46) take guard as the hosts trail by 82 runs and have five wickets remaining.

For New Zealand, Tim Southee has three wickets so far while Doug Bracewell has claimed the other two.
