India beat New Zealand by 5 wickets in the second Test to claim the series 2-0, on Monday.

Chasing 261 in the second innings, Virat Kohli top-scored again with an unbeaten 51. He had a century from the 1st innings. MS Dhoni (48*) and Cheteshwar Pujara (48) were the other top-scorers.

For New Zealand, Tim Southee took 8 wicktes from the Test. Seven came in the first innings.

The previous best chase in Tests by India in Bangalore was 207.
