| Mahesh Bhupathi has declined to pair up with Leander Paes for the upcoming London Olympics.
Citing disappointment over AITA's decision, he said he had already told the association that he would not plat at Olympics if Paes was his partner.
He added that Rohan Bopanna would have been his ideal partner and the best pairing for the country at the Olympics.
In a joint statement, Bopanna and Bhupathi have said, "To not send one of the best tennis teams in the world to the Olympics - and to, instead, choose to nominate one that has had four previous unsuccessful attempts - fails to put the interests of the nation first."
