Pakistan tonight clarified that Indian prisoner Surjeet Singh, and not Sarabjit Singh, will be released.

Earlier, Pakistani media had reported that president Asif Ali Zardari had commuted the death sentence for Sarabjit Singh.

Sarabjit Singh has been in jail since 1990 while Surjeet Singh has spent over three decades in prison in Pakistan.
