Sachin Tendulkar sworn in as member of Parliament

NEWS FLASH Sachin Tendulkar took oath today as a member of Rajya Sabha in New Delhi. Tendulkar arrived in Parliament today with his wife Anjali, and Indian Premier League (IPL) Chairman Rajiv Shukla. Tendulkar is the first active sportsman from India to be sworn in as a member of Parliament. Tendulkar was nominated as a Rajya Sabha MP along with Bollywood actor Rekha and businesswoman Anu Aga in April for the Upper House of Parliament.
