2G case: A Raja granted bail

NEWS FLASH A Raja, a former telecom minister, has been granted bail in the 2G spectrum allocation case. Mr Raja has spent 15 months in jail for his alleged role in the telecom swindle. Mr Raja applied for bail only after the 13 other individuals accused in the case had been granted bail. The judge accepted that Mr Raja should be treated at par with the 13 others accused of conspiring with him.
