Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in India along with a 40-member delegation for his day-long visit.

His special aircraft has landed at Delhi's Palam Airport. He will now head to the 7 Race Course Road residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh where the two leaders will meet over lunch.

Mr Zardari will then fly out to Ajmer for a private visit to the famous dargah (shrine) of sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.
