| A Norwegian court has ruled that the custody of two children of an NRI couple will be handed over to their uncle.
Three-year-old Abhigyan and one-year-old Aishwarya will return to India soon with their paternal uncle, Arunabhas Bhattacharya.
The children's parents - Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya - have fought a long legal battle with Norwegian authorities to get their children back to the family.
The children had been kept in foster care by the Child Welfare Services (CWS) since May last year. They were taken away from their family as the CWS did not find the parents providing a suitable environment for them to grow up in. | |
