Cabinet clears Presidential Reference on Supreme Court's 2G verdict

NEWS FLASH

The Union Cabinet on Tuesday gave its go-ahead for a Presidential Reference for the Supreme Court's February 2 verdict on the 2G case.

Under Article 143 of the Constitution, the President can place matters of public importance to the Supreme Court to decide on the issue. A Presidential Reference must be cleared by the Cabinet.
