Cabinet approves Air India turnaround plan

The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved a turnaround plan for embattled national carrier Air India.

Bankers had earlier approved a debt restructuring plan aimed at returning debt-laden Air India to financial health.

Air India currently has outstanding loans and dues worth Rs 67,520 crore.
