| A Gujarat trial court has given the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the post-Godhra riots, the month it had sought to furnish all documents on which it has based its final report in the 2002 Gulbarg Society massacre case.
The court said today that it would consider Zakia Jafri's petitions for a copy of the report only once it had first seen all the SIT's documents.
The SIT has till March 15 to submit the complete set of papers.
On February 29, the court will hear a fresh petition filed by Zakia Jafri's counsel that he be allowed to at least read the report. | |
