Australia beat India by 87 runs at Sydney to qualify for the CB Series finals.

The visitors managed to score 165 in reply to Australia's 252. R Ashwin top-scored with 26.

Ben Hilfenhaus, Shane Watson and Xavier Doherty claimed two wickets each.

Australia now have 18 points while India remain on 10 points from 7 points.
